Development of Smart Sensors for Health Monitoring in Urban Air Quality

Meet with my supervisor to show the Chapter 1: Introduction. In the discussion, we have some small talk regarding my final year project, he suggests me to put a picture in a weekly report to make it better. He also give me some advice how to increase my product performance when im doing it.

SUMMARY OF DISCUSSION

1) My supervisor give a comment of my writing of the report and my research of the product.
2) He would like to me show the blog for my weekly report.
3) I have ask him a several question that related to my project to improve my understanding to the report and doing the project.

In this week , i have continue my Chapter 1 : Intoduction

In the previous week, i have learned about how to write a Chapter 1, so this week, i have done several research about my product to find write it in a FYP1 report.

LIST OF ACTIVITIES:

1) Discuss with my supervisor how to write the Introduction

2) I have done my project background, problem statement and my objectives.

Project Background : The development of the project is because there are some problems that lead to the invention of this product. This product will help to monitoring the air quality around the city especially in Kuala Lumpur which has high rate air pollution. 

Problem Statement : Due to the dramatic and rapid increase in emissions of atmospheric pollutants. This project aim is to monitor the air quality around low cost area and detect the air pollution at the certain places. 

Objectives

•  To design the project that can be monitor the poor air quality.
•  To detect the bad air quality at the certain areas.
• To mapping the areas that the sensor have triggered.

In this week 3, we will talk about Final Year Project(FYP1) briefing which is held at the TTL1 at UNIKL BMI. In the briefing i have gain a lot of information regarding of FYP1. The briefing is conducted by Dr. Imran.

In this week 2, i have doing some discussion with my supervisor. We have discuss about title of my Final Year Project 1 (FYP1) and little briefing about my project. I have choose to do a prototype because i am interested to do it.

TITLE
 Development of Electrochemical Sensor in Monitoring air quality in low cost area.

PURPOSE OF PRODUCT
The purpose of this project is because due to the dramatic and rapid increase in emissions of atmospheric pollutants. This project aim is to monitor the air quality around low cost area and detect the air pollution at the certain places.This product will help to monitoring the air quality around the city especially in Kuala Lumpur which has high rate air pollution. 

CONCLUSION OF MEETING

We have discuss about the title and the supervisor has give some briefing about the project. After that, Dr.Ahmad Sabry have upload my title of FYP1 at website fyp.bmi.unikl.edu.my. In the website also have my research title and the background of my product. My supervisor also agreed for me to do a weekly blog rather than write it in a log book.
